Outreach

We have a team that goes out every week into the City Centre to Grey's Monument to do outreach work. The team is led by Liz Wright who has been doing outreach work in the Centre for the last ten years.  it is a challenging and rewarding part of the ministry at 'The Mission' she is accompanied by her husband Keith also Maureen Ridley, and George Milligan who has his own unique ministry in outreach and is affectionately known in Newcastle as 'The Banner Man'

The team talk to people, listen to people and pray for people.

Literature

There is a wealth of literature that is free to those who wish to study and learn, Pastor Miriam has written many books on the 'Old Testament' as well as the 'New Testament' also there are many books on how we should live our life in Christ. About the healing power of God, about Praise, and also on psalm 23 and 91. There is also a history book on Westgate Hall where 'The Mission' is housed and a Centenary Book written by Pastor Tom on the first hundred years of 'The Mission'.

Newsletter

We have a monthly newsletter that comes out on the last Sunday of the month it is to encourage and inspire, it is also used as an outreach tool and there are 'regulars' who look forward to it who come to the team at the 'Monument' specifically to get there newsletter.

CD's

Every Sunday evening the Message is recorded and the CD's produced are of great value to people, again these are used in the ministry for outreach they have been sent to various countries, they have been given out to those in prison, to those on the street who want to know more about Jesus and God's way of life.
